Description
- Neodymium magnets (otherwise known as Neo, Rare Earth, NIB, NdFeB), are 10x more powerful that the old ceramic magnets and most affordable type of rare-earth magnet.
- Made of an alloy of neodymium, iron and boron (Nd2Fe14B). Can be used in different applications that requires strong, compact permanent magnets, like electric motors, magnetic hold downs, jewelry clasps, hard drives, and power generation (wind & hydro turbines).
- With the highest magnetic field strength they have a high coercivity (that makes them magnetically stable) and a curie temperature of 80 degrees Celsius.
- Triple coated in Nickel, Copper and Nickel to protect them from corrosion.
- Each Magnet has a pull force of about 1.8Kg. Grade N42 (NNdFeB)
- North and South poles are on 10mm circular faces.
Note
They are naturally brittle and can break easily if allowed to slam into each other.
